I’d love to post a picture of Amelia every month, but I’m obviously a little behind. She’s hanging out with her Nonna right now so it’s time to catch up!
I’ll work my way backwards for this post…
THREE MONTHS OLD
She is getting to be a lot of fun. She just started smiling in the last week. She recognizes us and is super happy when she sees us. She usually sleeps for about one-four hour stretch at night (usually from 11pm-3am). She’s still sleeping in our bed, but we’re reading up on transitioning her into her crib. She slept there when we first brought her home from the hospital, but it didn’t last long. Hopefully, we’ll get back there without too much trouble. Oh, and hallelujah… breastfeeding doesn’t hurt anymore! I never thought I’d get through it, but I did and it feels triumphant!
TWO MONTHS OLD
This picture was taken at the pediatrician’s office right before she had her first shots. OMG. It was FAR worse for me than it was for her. My poor baby! At least my husband was there being the strong guy. Wouldn’t have made it this far without him 😉
ONE MONTH OLD
She’s basically a larva here 😉 A super tiny and adorable larva, but still… She loves riding in the car. As soon as we put her in the car seat, she is fast asleep. She wakes up every two hours or so and wants to eat which is exhausting, but look at her? How can you deny this adorable face?!?
